A simple hello is plenty for me. You don't need an impressive story or a perfect first sentence to begin a good conversation. I like the moment when introductions become easier and people start speaking in their own way. If you're taking a little time to get comfortable, there's room for that here. We can start gently.

Warmth matters to me, including the small things that can get overlooked in a busy room. An answer worth listening to, a kind remark, the willingness to laugh at a slightly awkward moment. I enjoy a little teasing once we find our footing, but I'm happy to let the conversation grow at a pace that feels natural for us.
